Hey, I'm moving my ''news'' -blog to a new direction: www.claudia-cifu.blogspot.com It's up and running right this second. I'm going to be posting new stuff to that direction from now on. The reason for the move is simply that so far I've felt a bit lonely here, without having anybody commenting my thoughts and things.
Therefore dear readers, opinions positive and not so positive ones are welcome and wanted!

On thursday I attended to JC 's press event, somewhere here in Sockholm centrum...I found the event to be a success. Why? Because they managed to make the press event interesting and cool. Clothing displays were personal, the fashion show was simple and straight on. The artist performance was a nice plus... and the champagne service didn't fail just on one glass!!!
Above & below: Models modeling Crocker Jeans by JC:
I don't think I'll ever get tired of the messy-braid -look.

Stage before & after:
The models came one by one to the stage and took their pose and place. Very nineties Ck -jeans alike. If the focus is on jeans, this is all what you need: A white tank, natural make up and hair, bare feet. Perfect!
I found lots of pieces from Crocker's collection that I would love to wear. The price for a pair of Jeans is around 40-50 euros. Not bad!
Stylish Swedish girls posing for the camera. When the girl on the left entered the room, she caught my eye. She looked like she stepped out in her comfy home-gear (that we all have but would die to wear it out). Somehow she made it look so cool and totally appropriate!
Name the pet performing at the event.
Hanna from Name the pet -band and one of my favorite blogger of all times, beautiful Signe.

I'm so tired right now... it's been a long, but fun day. I will get into it hopefully tomorrow. Right this second I'm not even typing correctly... But let me tell you at least what I came here for. Me and bunch of other bloggers came to see Lindex 's S/S 10 collection. There you go. No more words for tonight. Oh, but completely empty handed I'm not going to leave you... Check out my new shoes by Emma Cook for Top Shop:

My favorite part of the s/s 10 presentation was the underwear collection. It had a luxurious, sexy, yet really soft and sweet side, all at the same. High waisted powder color satin panties, and washed out lime green lace undies were one of my favorites.
Talking about lime green... I'm getting more and more into it. Lime green is a
huge color trend for next summer. Watch out you lime haters, you're
going to feel sick with so much green around!
In the picture below, I photographed the display room. I skipped photographing the undies, because I feel like it makes the garment loose something. The color, texture... so on. But trust me, the undies looked super!
Each collection was displayed in a different room and a different setting was built to support the theme. In the Romantic themed room the color palette of the clothes was naturally really soft, earthy and pastel-ly. Lots of cotton knits, tunics and floral patterns.
What stood out the most from the denim collection were biker jeans and 'Madonna' tops in many different colors. I love these little corset type tops, but I'm wondering how well they will sell. You need a really toned belly. If you're not a gym freak, the other way to use this top is to pair it with loose high-waist trousers.
Finalmente, the 'rock-room'. I noticed though, that some of the items presented are already in stores. Short cropped jackets and blazers, black, black, black and details on shoulders:

You get one new pair, and you have a line of other gems waiting for you... It's never enough! Living proof: Imelda Marcos (former first lady of the Philippines) who owned 3,000 pairs of shoes. Wish I was Imelda for one day, so I could get a shoe overdose and stop drooling after every beautiful pair I see.

Since I'm in this colorful mood, I'm going to go all the way with it!
The other day I walked by the Louis Vuitton store in Pohjoisespa and, once again got happy like a four year old when I saw some pretty glowing lights on the window...
I've never been a big Louis Vuitton fan, but I have to say from the S/S 10 collection I fell head over heels with the bags. The colors are amazing, love the tassels and neon color furry tails hanging from them. It brings me memories when I was a kid. We used to collect all kind of key chains to hang from our school bags. This is the refined version of it:

I'm so excited about this Dazed & Confused's editorial. Shot by Mark Pillai, Model Anastasia Kutznetsova styled by Katie Shillingford. So nice to get a huge color splash in the middle of these such gray days. I've always dreamed of painting the whole town in pink, yellow, orange, blue... just to make it more lively. Why not? Who says that it has to be so dull and gray?
Anyways, check out this beautiful editorial. Pay attention to the amazing hair, that looks like a sea plant from the Caribbean sea!

I was not going to buy anything. Really I was not interested in any of the items... I was just going to go see the event... but somehow, I soon found myself trying on this, such cool black suede fringe dress. I think it was nothing else than a glass of champagne that got into my head in that weak moment. Also seeing dozens of other women holding on to shoes, belts, dresses, and a pile of god knows what else... made that one little fringe dress seem like nothing. The fact that I had only one item on my hands made me feel like I was in control of the situation. I was not acting greedy, since it was just one dress. It felt more like a mature, a wise decision, an investment! I could always bring it back. Guess what, it's hanging in my closet and it's going nowhere from there! I love it!

Other cute stuff that I liked, but that did not come home with me.
