Marimekko 's S/S 10 collection looked better than ever. Fashion wise I think they finally took a bigger step towards what's in at the moment. Still staying true to their classics. The famous stripe and ''unikko'' -floral pattern were still there, but looked more fun and beautiful due to the cuts of the garments and sheer, flowy fabrics. I loved the fact that everything in this collection is wearable, and that it fits perfectly on the body. Before I've always found Marimekko's designs to be way too boxy, not flattering the woman's figure. Also dresses made out of thick velvet, is not the best fabric option in terms of comfort. In one sentence I would describe this collection as: ''A true classic with a clever fashion edge.''

Mari's New Shoes took their first steps on the catwalk.
For spring Marimekko’s collection grows with new shoes, each pair more desirable than the last. Designed by Julia Lundsten, who is the same designer behind the amazing FINSK shoes. Another great thing about the show was the location where it was held. They built a runway in the actual Marimekko -factory where all these famous fabrics are printed. It was an industrial, real and a great personal way to present the collection. Below, few catwalk photos.

One of the biggest S/S 10 fashion trends is the underwear as outerwear -look. I'm diging it, love the sheer fabrics and the careless peak of undies. Actually just the peak of bras, not really interested in seeing somebody's thong shining trough her sheer pants...

OMG, these are so awesome!!! Fashion Editorial for Numéro Magazine #107. She is an amazing model, the same roughness reminds me a bit of the Dominican model, Omahyra Mota Garcia. This Danish girl is one-of-a-kind.
